Background

Victoria has a traditional legal background at UK and US law firms.  She initially trained as a solicitor at Macfarlanes LLP where she qualified into the employment group and worked for four years.  She then joined the US firm Faegre Baker Daniels LLP as part of their award-winning employment team in London.  There she progressed to Senior Associate and then to Counsel, working closely with the Head of Office and Head of Employment.

After marrying another lawyer and having four turbo-charged children, the City life became tricky to juggle even with a very supportive boss - but Victoria remained passionate about her job and this provided a great opportunity to set up the service she felt was much needed in the employment law field; an affordable, high quality, straightforward and friendly alternative to traditional law firms.
